This application is for individuals who have been instructed to apply for employment in the English Learner Department as an English Learner Tutor.

 

The ELL tutor helps English learners, including immigrant children and youth, succeed in school by assisting them in becoming fluent in English and meeting challenging state academic content and student academic achievement standards. The ELL tutor provides effective language instruction that meets the needs of ELs and increases English language proficiency and student academic achievement. The ELL tutor also works with families as needed to ensure that students participate effectively in the program. The ELL tutor reports to the Director of English Language Learner Education.
